PDP shuts down official Twitter account

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has shut down @PdpNigeria, its official and verified Twitter handle.

Chinwe Nnorom, the party’s head of publicity division, confirmed this in a statement, saying the public will soon be informed of a new Twitter account.
Nnorom said all tweets and communication from @PDPNigeria no longer represent the position of the party.
