Illicit Drug Trade: Senate Urges FG to Restructure NDLEA

The Senate Tuesday passed a motion on Nigerians involvement in the illicit global drug trade and the increase in domestic drug abuse by Nigerian youths.

The motion, which was sponsored by Sen. Gbenga Ashafa, and co-sponsored by 21 Senators urges the Federal Government to restructure and reposition the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) to be more result oriented.
