The Nigerian Army announced on Saturday that it had re-opened all major
highways linking Maiduguri, Borno, with other parts of the country after
being closed for about three years due to attacks by the extremist
group, Boko Haram.
The roads were closed three years ago at the height of Boko Haram insurgency.
