Inspector-general of police, IGP Solomon Arase, has banned all officers of the Nigerian police force from illegally accessing the mobile phones of Nigerians, starting from today. He mandated them to respect the rights of Nigerians to their private and family lives.
He urged Nigerians to contact the Compliant Response Unit through their official Twitter handle “PoliceNG_CRU” should any officer illegally search their phones….
