The court of Appeal sitting in Abuja has declared APC candidate and current Minister of women affairs, Aisha Alhassan, as the governor of Taraba State.

The appeal court upheld the decision of the election petition tribunal. Governor Darius Ishaku however still has the grace of appealing the decision at the nation’s Supreme Court.
