Nigerian Army has set up a media centre in Lafiyo Dole in Maiduguiri, the Borno State capital.
This is part of its drive to keep the public properly informed of the counter-insurgency operation in the northeast.
From statement by Colonel Tukur Gusau, (Media Coordinator Operation Lafiya Dole) the aim is to provide real time and accurate information and to provide avenue for a better interaction.
