UNITED NATION MOVES ON LYBIA

The United Nations has now proposed a national Unity government to Libya's warring parties.

The deal, put forward to them on Thursday, is already facing resistance from the Tripoli self-declared rulers.

The proposal comes after months of protracted negotiations between the two factions.
