The Lagos State Gov has warned residents of the state to prepare against flooding, resulting from heavy rainfall starting from Oct 2015.
Perm. Sec., Ministry of Environ, Oluwatoyin Onisarotu, said the warning was to sensitize Lagosians to ensure free flow of water in the drains.
He added that it was also to avert disaster, as a report of the Nigerian Metrological Agency had predicted heavy rains
Lagos is not the only state prone to flooding as Kwara, Niger, Kogi and Benue have also received similar warning
