Chelsea duo Ivanovic and Matic were forced off with injuries before Serbia downed bitter rivals Albania 2-0 to give themselves some pride in Euro 2016 qualifying.
Ivanovic was withdrawn after 65 minutes in Tirana with a hamstring problem before Matic followed eight minutes later having struggled with an injury of his own.
