Efcc seize Alison madueke house. Seized 600,000 pounds watch

EFCC has swooped in on former Minister of Petroleum, Mrs. Diezani Alison-Madueke seizing some of her properties and an expensive wrist watch.

The anti-graft agency seized houses from the former Minister of Petroleum Resources and a very expensive wrist watch worth £600,000 as well as jewellery in gold and diamond.

Poor electricity supply: My children are also suffering the effects- Fashola

Minister of Power, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, says his children are also facing the effects of the poor electricity supply presently being experienced in the country.

He said they suffer from heat rashes, sweat a lot and also wonder what exactly he, as the minister in charge of power, is doing about the electricity challenge.

Policeman’s wife stabs neighbour for laughing at her picture

The wife of a policeman attached to the state police command allegedly stabbed her neighbour, Mrs. Olaitan Ayobami.The unfortunate incident happened on Etunrere Street in the Ikorodu area of Lagos on Monday.

The cop’s wife, Mrs. Desola Ochoche, fled the residence afterwards, leaving Ayobami for dead. Ayobami was later rushed to a private hospital in the area.

Babangida urges patience with Buhari, refutes death report

Nigerian troops ambush insurgents trying ‘to link up with their wives and children’

Nigerian troops on Sunday morning, ambushed Boko Haram insurgents who were trying to link up with their ‘wives and children’ and other terrorists.

Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, Acting Director Army Public Relations, in a statement, said the insurgents were gunned down at Fulawani village.

According to the army spokesperson, the wives and children are despatched to wait for them close to Fulawani

‘Burnt documents’ reveal Saraki transferred over $3m to US account within 4 years

Embattled Senate President Bukola Saraki reportedly transferred up to $3.47 million to a foreign account during his tenure as governor of Kwara state.

According to Premium Times newspapers, the total sum was paid in 40 installments in four years with his credit card to the United States.

Saraki is on trial before the Code of Conduct Tribunal for alleged non-declaration of assets, fraud.

Meanwhile, Senate President Bukola Saraki has said that his refusal to back a Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket on the platform of the All Progressives Congress was the chief reason behind his ongoing trial before the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT).

Saraki is currently standing trial at the Code of Conduct Tribunal on alleged false declaration of assets when he was the governor of Kwara State.

Train crushes 2 to death in llorin

A Kano to Lagos passenger train on Sunday crushed a commercial motorcyclist and his passenger to death in llorin.

A News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) correspondent, who witnessed the incident, reports that the tragedy occurred along Kangu-lle-Araromi road in the llorin West LGA

The train crushed the motorcyclist and his passenger, a middle-aged woman, when the motorcyclist tried to cross the railways
